Arizona Marijuana DUI Laws

Medical marijuana has been legal in Arizona since 2010, and recreational marijuana was legalized for adults in 2020. However, you still cannot drive, operate a boat, or control any vehicle if you’re impaired by marijuana to the slightest degree. Under Arizona law (ARS 28-1381), you can be charged with a DUI if you’re found to be in control of a vehicle while impaired.
