Phoenix — The Arizona Chapter National Safety Council (ACNSC), a nonprofit safety advocate dedicated to eliminating preventable deaths and injuries, today announced the relaunch of its Manager of Environmental, Safety & Health (MESH) Southwest certificate program with a redesigned online experience and updated course offerings.
MESH Southwest is a partnership between ACNSC, the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH), and the OSHA Education Center at Arizona State University. It provides working professionals and non-degree seeking adults with a clear pathway to earn recognized certificates in either General Industry (G-MESH Southwest) or Construction (C-MESH Southwest) by completing 100 hours of safety and health training through a mix of core courses and electives.
With the relaunch, participants will benefit from:
- Improved user experience with streamlined navigation and mobile optimization on the ACNSC website.
- Updated course and credit hours along with refreshed resource materials.
- More modern, relevant, and accessible content tailored for today’s busy working professionals seeking continuing education.
“Since I introduced the program in 2020, MESH Southwest has become one of the most important programs we offer for advanced safety certificate training,” said Ed Taube, lead trainer for ACNSC. “It’s built on an incredible partnership between ACNSC, ADOSH, and ASU’s OSHA Education Center, and this relaunch makes the program even more relevant and accessible for today’s busy safety leaders.”
The MESH Southwest certificate program equips participants with the skills to manage day-to-day environmental, safety, and health responsibilities while also earning recognition that demonstrates their commitment to safer workplaces. Graduates receive a MESH Southwest plaque upon completion of the program requirements and a $99 administrative fee.
